The facilities and landscape of ELBC is always changing, as we seek to provide the very best experience possible for our campers, staff and guest groups.
We are always in need of volunteer help, prayer, tangible resources, and funds to complete the projects.
Ask God how you can get involved or how you can donate to contribute to a project - big or small! We would love to chat with you!
Capital Projects
New Residence
In 2022 we broke ground for a new residence to be built onsite for the Site Manager and family. It is currently completed to 'lock-up' and we are now working on completing the electrical and plumbing indoors. We are hoping to finish the residence project in 2025. If you would like to help us with this project as a skilled trades person, volunteer or financially - please contact the camp office or our Directors.
New Camp Kitchen, Dining Hall and Chapel Building
In 2020 we began the project for a much needed camp kitchen, dining hall and chapel. For more information about this project and how you can help, please contact our Directors or Camp Board Members.
Day and Weekend Projects
We love having trades people come out to volunteer and help us out with projects - your knowledge and skillset are gifts to us! We also love it when a group of folks (small groups, a bunch of friends, youth groups, etc.) want to come out and help us with small projects here at camp - we always have something to do! If you are interested in coming out for a few hours, a day (or 2) or a weekend - please contact Darcy (Site Manager)

Some of the projects on the go:
- Blob Tower Dock - rebuild, re-do floatation to stop the lean and sinking.
- Waterslide - Fiberglass repair and structural bracing improvements.
- Soffiting for all sheds and skills storage areas (volleyball shed, archery shed, targetry shed, etc.)
- Ongoing Dock Repairs - rebuilding dock sections
- Chalet - seal board and batton, restain. Install bat houses at Chalet. Exterior chinking. Add outdoor trim around windows.
- Hexagon Swing Park - raking gravel and create wood boundary for gravel.
- Red Shop Covered Lean-to - build on both sides.
- Firewood Shelters - Build
- Wood Bleachers By Campfire - built (we have photo ideas and can get building plans).
- Chapel Deck Ceiling Renovation
- Basketball Court - fencing around, and landscaping for easy mowing.
- Whispervale Firepit Seating Area - rebuild
- Echo Lake Bible Camp Sign - add the log sign to the bottom of the current sign.
There is also many other maintenance projects always on the list like - mowing, trimming, staining, painting, minor repairs, deep cleaning, etc. Please contact Darcy or the Camp Office if you would like to come volunteer.
